PowWow
Narcomey Powwow 2027 invites all dancers from around North America to compete. We will have over 55 categories including women, men, teen/jr boys, teen/jr girls plus special dance contests.
Contest include:
Men's Fancy, Traditional, Straight, Grass and Chicken for the Golden Age, Men 36-54, Men 18-35
Women's Cloth, Buckskin, Jingle, Northern Traditional, Fancy Shawl for Golden Age, Women 36-54, Women 18-35
Teen/Jr Boys Fancy, Traditional, Straight, Grass for Teen 13-17, Jr Boys 7-12
Teen/Jr Girls Cloth, Buckskin, Jingle, Fancy Shawl for Teen 13-17, Jr Girls 7-12
All tiny tot dancers welcome.
Drum Contest
Payouts over $52,000 for the southern and northern drum contest. 1st - $10,000, 2nd - $7,000, 3rd - $5,000, 4th - $3,000, 5th - $1000 to the top southern and northern drums.
Woodlawn Special and Women's Applique with a payout over $7,800 - 18 and Up
Boys Woodland 7-17, Girls Applique 7-17 payout of $3,400

Narcomey Powwow 2027
Located at the spacious Arvest Convention Center, our event fills the Pepsi Exhibit Halls C & B, with over 72,200 sq. ft. to utilize for dancing, drum contest art & crafts booths, and food concession inside. Food trucks will be available outside.

Our official host is the DoubleTree by Hilton, situated adjacent to the Arvest Convention Center. We have secured 350 rooms for the dates of October 29th through 31st at a special rate of $139 per night plus discounted parking.
